It's time to celebrate and indulge as we welcome the Year of the Wood Snake! In honor of this special occasion, Lilly has created a fresh take on a classic dish by blending the bold flavours of our Sambal Tumis with the tangy zest of Korean Kimchi and tender pork belly. This fusion dish brings together the perfect balance of spice, umami, and richness—a feast to kick off the new year with flavour and flair!


Sambal Kimchi Pork Belly recipe

Ingredients

- 1kg pork belly

- 1 pack of sambal tumis base

- 1 lettuce

- 1 small jar of kimchi

Method:

1. Marinate meat overnight in sambal tumis base

2. Cook meat with oil on BBQ or pan fry til golden

2. Prepare and wash lettuce

3. Stir-fry kimchi for serving with pork

4. Assemble kimchi and pork into the lettuce leaf

5. Serve





This tasty sambal has no MSG, colouring or preservatives but does contain anchovies and prawn. Get more pork on your fork!

Pro tip: Blend up the ice for a slushie version

Coconut Matcha Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1 serve of water for the above

- 1-2 tsp high-quality matcha powder

- 1 serve of 70-80 degree water for the above

- Ice cubes


Instructions:

1. Add ice to glass

2. Mix 60g of Coconut shake powder from @my.blue.tea with 60ml of room temperature water

3. Pour into glass

4. Make matcha - sift 1tsp with 70-80 degree water then whisk til smooth

5. Add into glass on top of the coconut shake

6. Enjoy your refreshing shake!


This thicker version of iced matcha needs no additional sugar as the Coconut Shake powder already comes with coconut cream powder and xantham gum. It's gluten free and non- GMO with no preservatives.
