BREWING BLUE PEA FLOWER TEA :
For best results to reap the health benefits from this herb, add your desired amount of the Blue Butterfly Pea Powder into cold, tepid or warm water and allow to dissolve.
Alternatively put 5 to 10 organic dried butterfly pea flowers into your tea pot (say 600 mls), add boiling water, steep for 5-10 minutes depending on desired colour. You can add wild honey or rice sugar for a sweeter taste if required.
For that special moment add a touch of freshly squeezed lemon juice to turn the colour from blue to purple. You may also like to chill some butterfly pea flower tea and add some ice cubes for a delicious cold blue ice tea or add to your cocktails as blue ice cubes.
