You'll love My Blue Tea

Wishing you Good Health, Wealth and Prosperity in the Year of the Metal Rat

Asians across countries like Malaysia, China, Singapore, Korea, and Vietnam will be busy with preparations to ring in the Lunar New Year on 25 January 2020. Asian migrants in Australia and anywhere else in the world will also uphold some Lunar New Year traditions.

Each Chinese zodiac sign from the 12 (rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and pig) has a lucky colour and many of them are associated with happiness and the success they are going to have during all 12 months.

What are the lucky colours of 2020 and how to attract good luck?

Surprisingly, the lucky colours of the year 2020 "Year of the Rat" are White and Blue. How appropriate are they for My Blue Tea.

To attract good luck, from January 25th of 2020 when the Lunar Year of the Rat starts, the colours White and Blue must be predominant around you for good luck, prosperity, and health. In feng shui, this applies to both the colours you are wearing, as well as the colours of your home interior design.

2020 is a watershed year from an astrological point of view for many zodiac signs. The Rat, which is the first zodiac sign from the Chinese calendar, has as the main agent the Water element, represented by the blue colour and the Rat is yang and represents the beginning of a new day. How else can you attract good luck?

How about drinking some Blue Tea!? Our favourite is the Blue Goddess Tea 蓝铁观音 which is a special blend of Tie Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy Tea), a sweet and floral Chinese oolong tea that has been delicately infused with goji berries and our very own butterfly blue pea flowers. The aroma reminds you of the wonderful orchids.

What's in store for My Blue Tea in 2020?

MY BLUE TEA is looking forward to the Year of the Rat. Since the Rat is the first in the rotation of the 12 zodiac signs, the Year of the Rat is considered a year of new beginnings and renewals. When the Year of the Rat comes, it generally delivers new experiences with favourable outcomes for all of the zodiac signs. The Metal element aspect also indicates success, as this is the element of production. Metal is strong, determined and resolute. With all of these properties combined in 2020, the year of the Metal Rat looks to be a year that is filled with growth and accomplishments.

Businesses can thrive if they work on opportunities to build good relationships with customers, be brave, be happy and maintain trust with key stakeholders.

New beginnings by investing in sustainability

My Blue Tea will be investing in training the next generation for future food security. New machines have been commissioned and work with Scientists and their teams have commenced improving our freeze-dried technology.

We have 280 acres of land to plant Butterfly Pea Flowers, Pandan, Purple Sweet Potato, Torch Ginger, Red Ginger and Dayak Ginger. This plantation, as a non-profit enterprise, will assist our community particularly native single mums.

Yes, our farm is rapidly expanding with the installation of a new greenhouse that continues to give you beautiful Clitoria Ternatea or Butterfly Pea Flowers.

Renewals by investing in partnerships

Seeking passionate Chefs and Home Cooks for various cuisine and Vegan dishes who would like to be featured with us using our all-natural plant-based powders for sweet or savoury dishes. Create anything with My Blue Tea Powder range. Your imagination is your limit!

One Chocolatier made Durian Chocolates, Pandan Chocolates and Pandan cookies with our plant-based Superfoods.

And the collaboration may not just be limited to cooking. We have made a lot of progress with our Blue Beauty the Butterfly Blue Pea Fowers now growing in abundance on our farm.

One partner used both Pandan Powder and Blue Butterfly Pea Powder to make bath bombs, body baths and bath salts/sugars. Another partner created her own range of organic cleaning soaps with different colours to reflect their different uses. Organic cleaning materials are technically not allowed to use synthetic colour and they are basically "colourless". So how cool when the colours are organic!

Our all-natural plant-based products are also undergoing testing so that they can be used to produce natural plant-based cosmetics.
